National Geographic Warm-up
I like this photo because you can see the stars very clear in the sky. I also like how the photographer took this picture at the right moment where you can see the lighting in the tornado. I also like how he fitted the the night sky & the entire tornado in the photo.
I would take a photo on a huge building to get the whole view of Austin

Post Shoot Reflection
http://lewisja.blogspot.com/ I like how he takes his photos right in the moment. I also like that how how he does the angle of his pictures. The only thing that he needs to improve is that he needs to focus the camera because the photos kinda look blurry.
My monster meal
I would go to Wendy's and stack Baconators and in between each burger put fries . After all that wrap up the burger in bacon. Make the tallest burger in world and live off eating from it. Then i would make sure the burger would never go bad

Great Black and White Photographers Part 2
This picture was taken the photo by michele clement this man has no information about herself so this means i dont know anything just that hes a well known photographer making her a mysterious artist
40 Greatest Photos Ever
I picked this photo because one man stood up against four huge tanks.. I liked how he took this photo from a high building to get all four of the tanks in that one photo means he really had to find the perfect spot to get this photo. I think this picture made it to the top 40 because like it shows one person can do a change.
I picked this picture because the look on the little boys face of him hearing sound for the first time. I like how the photographer took this photo because he had to take this shot a the right moment. I think this photo made it to the top 40 because its once in a life time picture it really touches people hearts.
I picked this photo because two African Americans hold the black power fist up showing their victory at the Olympics. I like how the photographer took this picture because the looks like he was at the right spot to shoot this picutre & for a old photo it looks really clear. I think this photo made it to the top 40 is becaus it shows a African American can do even better than a white man

Happy, Metal, Red
I choose this picture for my happy photo because the little sticker looks so funny and his cheeks are rosy red. You cant find something more happy in a school until you see this little sticker. Just see this photo will give you a good laugh.
I choose this photo for my metal photo because the angle of this photo is really nice. I like how the ladder starts from the from & leads to the back. Everyone loves ladders plus since its Friday the 13th the ladder is common known as bad luck if you go under it.
I choose this one for my red photo because its an atom & in the atom is a little screw. Its a really creative thing for someone to to this. It was in a workshop so it was really original for this to put this in thereWednesday, September 11, 2013
Camera History and Camera Parts
1:
the camera obscure affect his when inside a completely dark room a
ring hole is created in now wall. trough the hold light is focused and
the outside scene is projected upside down on the opposite wall.
2: in the 17th century, the modern camera came one step closer when
isaac newton and christian huygens perfected the understanding of optics
and the process of making high quality glass lenses
3:Then
in 1827 Joseph Nicéphore Niépce added the final touch. He added *film*
to create the first successful photograph, and the modern camera was
born:
A glass lens, a dark box, and film.
4:It's comforting to know that even the latest digital cameras work the same way as their ancestors:
Light passes through the lens, into the camera, and exposes the film. And guess what? The end result is still a photograph.
5:Replacing old-fashioned plastic film, digital cameras capture the
images with an electronic sensor called a CCD. Photographs are stored on
reusable computer memory devices.
The result is that modern photography is cheaper (and more environmentally friendly) than it has ever been before.
6:Auto The camera will completely control flash and exposure. On most cameras this is labelled "auto", on others simply "A". Some cameras only have (P)rogram.
Program automatic-assist, just point and shoot. Unlike full auto mode, you can usually control flash and a few other camera settings.
7Portrait To attempt to blur out the background, camera will try to use the fastest available lens setting (aperture).
8:Sports To freeze motion, camera will use the highest shutter speed possible.
9This is an easy yet essential skill for beginners to learn. The "half-pressed" button is helpful in many ways, including:
- faster camera response time
- more control over focus
- encourages better composition
Using the half-press is easy, aim your camera directly at the subject
and gently press the shutter release button until the camera comes
"alive". If you want to take the shot, press down until the camrea
fires.
10:Disabled Flash
no
flash. There are many cases where you may not want flash at all. The
mood of the photograph can sometimes be more dramatic when the natural
light is used.
11:Auto-Flash
In most camera modes, Auto-flash is enabled by default and will automatically fire if the camera thinks it needs more light.
12:Too
much light and the picture will be washed out. Not enough light and the
picture will be too dark. A good photograph depends on calculating the
exposure settings that will give the film the "right" amount of
exposure.
13:A
good technical exposure will produce a final image that accurately
represents the original scene.. Film is light sensitive, and if the
exposure is too dark or too bright, the result will not look like "real
life".
14:The term "stop" is used in every aspect of photography to represent a relative change in the brightness of light.
15: its is one steps brighter with a planet with two suns
16: if there was four suns the new planet is two stops brigther
17: Longer shutter speeds = more light
18:shorter shutter speeds = less light
19:Before
light reaches film, it must pass through an opening called an
"Aperture". The aperture is like a pupil. You can control the aperture
by setting the "Aperture Opening", also known as an F-Stop.
20: make alarger openings = more light
Great Black and White
i like this photo because its so mysterious. I like how half her face is half covered by the cup of water
